“Musical Evenings at Mir Castle” Project

About event

ONT's “Musical Evenings at Mir Castle” is a long-running summer open-air music project beside the walls of Mir Castle. The most recent reliably confirmed edition under this exact title in the sources consulted took place on 16–17 June 2023, after the project resumed. Its four major concerts were “Timeless Music” by the National Academic Concert Orchestra of Belarus named after M. Ya. Finberg, Viktoriya Aleshko's solo programme “Real Gold”, “Our Favourites” featuring Belarusian performers, and a solo concert by Oleg Gazmanov. A different project, “Musical Theatre at Mir Castle”, was organised by the Belarusian State Academic Musical Theatre in 2024, including programmes on 29 June and 13 July. Although it shared the venue and a similar format, it had a different name and organisers and must not be treated as the same event.
