Regional Cheese Festival “Hospodarchy Syr”

A regional food festival celebrating the long-standing tradition of homemade cheesemaking in the Slavgorod area. According to the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee’s official website, the festival has been held annually in Slavgorod since 2012. Its centrepiece is homemade cheese presented in more than 30 varieties. The traditional programme features a cheese market and tastings, cheesemaking workshops, an agritourism village, national cuisine, craft workshops, concerts, games and opportunities for excursions. Regional tourism sources note that since 2021, “Gaspadarchy Syr” has expanded into a culinary event known as “Cheese Fest”.
