International Festival of Early and Contemporary Chamber Music

The 36th International Festival of Early and Contemporary Chamber Music took place in the concert hall of Saint Sophia Cathedral from 31 March to 21 April 2024. The programme comprised seven concerts. Confirmed highlights included “Misa a Buenos Aires” (“Misatango”) by Martín Palmeri performed on 5 April by chamber ensembles of the Gomel Regional Philharmonic; “Stars of Opera” featuring leading soloists of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus on 10 April; “Treasures of Bel Canto” on 14 April; and “Romantic Music for Clarinet and Piano” on 19 April with Belarusian State Academy of Music professor I. L. Brychikov and accompanist E. V. Nikolaeva.
