About event
September is the golden season for 'quiet hunting.' An experienced local forester leads the group through the most bountiful mushroom spots. Participants learn to distinguish noble porcini and orange-cap boletus mushrooms from poisonous look-alikes, as well as how to properly cut their finds without damaging the mycelium. After the hike, a fragrant mushroom soup and fried chanterelles with fresh potatoes are prepared at the farmstead.
